AVER seeks a Senior Project Analyst with 7+ years' experience supporting DHS or equivalent federal agencies. This role, based in a SCIF environment, involves managing classified projects, acting as the main client contact, developing/executing special initiatives, preparing correspondence, briefing senior leaders, and tracking actions. Responsibilities include liaising with government agencies, developing SOPs, and ensuring SCIF compliance. Strong decision-making, organizational skills, and excellent customer service are crucial. A TS/SCI clearance is required.
Must have:

AVER is seeking an experienced Senior Project Analyst to perform a wide range of functions within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environment to ensure the protection of firm and government sensitive and classified information. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently and provide support to an integrated team. The ideal candidate will possess strong decision making and organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently. The candidate can manage multiple projects, ensuring accurate and timely responses for federal clients. Responsibilities Include:
- Support client through effective task management and acting as main point of contact to support clients on classified projects
- Support the development and execution of special projects and initiatives
- Assist the Government leads with preparing correspondence, briefing senior leaders, and tracking actions
- Experience working in a client-facing role
- Experience with calendar management
- Knowledge of different levels of classification for classified materials
- Develop new Standard Operating Procedures
- Liaise with government agencies, law enforcement, and other external entities as needed
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
Experience Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional work experience supporting the Department of Homeland Security or other equivalent federal agency
- Experience as a PMO facing project analyst for the federal government
- Experience with SharePoint and Shared Drives to house, update, maintain and share documents
- Ability to monitor and assess potential risks in a cross- functional team environment
- Ability to support process improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of working in a SCIF environment, understands levels of classification and documentation and ability to adhere to SCIF standards
- Maintain calendars and coordinate and update meetings in support of senior level DHS stakeholders
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to provide project coordination oversight
- Strong decision making, judgment and analytical skills
Desired Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) standards

- Experience with supporting the Department of Homeland Security, preferred
Location:
- HYBRID (2-3 days per week in Northern, VA)
Security Requirements:
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Top Secret/SCI)
- This role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship
