Job Summary:

The Department Head of GTM, REIT Segment, is accountable for the leadership, management and results of all sales and operations of the assigned REIT segment. They own the relationships with key decision makers in each of the account’s buying centers. They are accountable for developing clear strategies for each buyer and for closing any gaps in coverage or process. The Department Head leads Team Leaders and others to personally drive and contribute to customer and service provider acquisition, expansion, and retention. The Department Head manages all related resources to ensure results meet or exceed the overall goals and objectives of DMG’s business plan.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure strong relationships are built and strengthened with customers. This includes traveling to meet with them at a a certain cadence and being available to meet with them upon request. Our REIT customers are looking for a partnership they can trust to provide strategic insights regarding the management of their properties.
  • Establish and implement an annual and quarterly strategic plan alongside Team Leaders to drive critical DMG initiatives for profitably grow account/segment within budget. Deliver results that meet or exceed expectations. (Segment Dependent).
  • Accelerate the business and drive revenue growth. Results oriented achiever that leads a team through barriers with an intense sense of urgency. Delivers results quickly and consistently.
  • Responsible for creating a long-term focus on delivering sales and operational excellence. Develops up-to-date and actionable account plans for each account. Leads operations and sales to identify opportunities for client improvements and needs.
  • Build, lead and coach effective leaders of both sales and operational employees including driving strategic short- and long-term thinking.
  • Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Manages the development and execution of customer and supplier contracts and is the lead negotiator on terms and conditions. Ensures full work order management cycle meets or exceeds KPIs.
  • Oversee and manage training, metrics, accountabilities, communicating goals and expectations, all tied to a customer centric strategic business plan.
  • Ensures forecasting and reporting of performance is accurate.
  • Build relationships & collaborate. Continuously develops relationships and works effectively with key stakeholders including buyers, facilities managers and other key influencers within customer accounts, service providers, DMG (Divisions Maintenance Group) field teams and cross functional support departments.
  • Ensure all customer expectations are met, and the Divisions value proposition is delivered.
  • Look for new opportunities, product synergies and partnerships. Identify market trends and new market opportunities.
  • Identify business needs and apply your knowledge to develop and present world-class solutions. Share feedback and solutions.
  • An appetite to continuously learn about our products, competitors and adjoining technology segments.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

 

What You Need:

  • 10+ years of customer account and people management leadership experience.
  • Located in the state of FL.
  • Experience working with Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
  • Facilities maintenance experience preferred.
  • Makes decisions based on data analytics.
  • Experience working with corporate senior management and articulating intuitive insight and strategies.
  • Hands-on leader with solid understanding of sales operations processes, software pricing/discounting, contracting, and negotiation strategy.
  • Goal Oriented: Remains focused on goals and leverages resources to attain goals.
  • Risk Management: Takes thoughtful risks knowing that taking a risk is often better than not acting at all.
  • Problem Solving: Assesses situations quickly, reviews options, plans solutions and acts with urgency.
  • Networking: Ability to make connections easily to build client and service provider portfolio.
  • Analytical: ability to compile, summarize, analyze, report and action data.
  • Key understanding of budget, P&L, forecasting, and execution of financial deliverables.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, multi-task oriented and strong public speaking skills..
  • Leads by example fosters an environment that reflects the values of the company.
  • Lives Divisions Basics.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements: Business travel when required to support accounts and new business growth.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
