Job Description

Luxoft seeks a Senior/Lead Test Engineer for its Automotive Digital Cockpit practice. Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans, cases, and scripts for automotive software; conducting unit, integration, and qualification testing; identifying and tracking software defects; collaborating with development teams; performing automated and manual testing; validating software components; utilizing test management tools; and staying current with testing methodologies. The role requires expertise in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay), debuggers, AUTOSAR basics, ISO 26262, embedded systems, and RTOS. Experience with test automation tools and test management software is essential. The position is based in Bengaluru, India.

Must have:

Software testing methodologies and tools
Test automation (Selenium/QTP/Junit/Robot Framework/Vteststudio)
Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay)
Debuggers (Lauterbach, Isystem etc)
AUTOSAR basics, ISO 26262
Embedded systems, RTOS, QNX
Test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, PTC)
SWE4,5,6

Good to have:

Scripting languages (Python, Perl, CAPL)
CI/CD pipelines
Mobile application testing (automotive)
MIL/HIL/SIL
ISTQB certification

Project description

We develop IVI systems from pixel to silicon and apply agile methodologies to tackle challenging projects in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automotive software systems.

Conduct various types of testing, including

Unit, Integration and Qualification testing.

Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.

Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements, architecture and design effective test strategies.

Perform automated and manual testing to ensure software meets quality standards.

Validate software components against specified requirements and industry standards.

Use test management tools to document test results and generate reports.

Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and industry trends.

Provide feedback and recommendations for software improvements.

Participate in requirements, architecture, detailed design reviews and provide input from a testing perspective.
