Xsolla seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead DevOps culture, automate CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure (Terraform/Ansible), and containerize (Docker/K8s) services. The role focuses on driving DevOps practices and automating the application delivery pipeline, working with development teams to streamline CI/CD using GitLab CI/CD, containerizing applications with Docker and K8s, and ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring. Responsibilities include building and configuring applications/services to the cloud, driving DevOps principles, automating infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and managing container orchestration.
Must have:
- Systems engineering fundamentals
- Commercial software development experience
- DevOps scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline)
- Containerization (Docker, K8s)
- Automation of infrastructure

About You
Xsolla is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who can lead the DevOps culture, automate CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure (Terraform/Ansible), and containerize (Docker/K8s) services for global scale and performance.
Your primary focus will be driving the adoption of DevOps practices and automating the entire application delivery pipeline. You'll work closely with development teams daily to streamline the CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD. You'll containerize applications using Docker and K8, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a critical team member, ensure success in building and configuring applications, software, and services to the private (sometimes public) cloud.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
- Implement and optimize continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Containerize applications and manage container orchestration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Experience in commercial software development
- Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
