About the role

We are looking for a Senior Director, Global Theatrical Marketing to lead global campaigns for our film business. This role is important to growing Crunchyroll's footprint in the entertainment industry and scaling the release of anime films across diverse genres worldwide. Reporting to the VP, Brand & Content Marketing, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, creators, licensors, and executives to deliver culturally impactful campaigns that resonate with audiences and achieve our goals.

  • You will develop and execute theatrical campaign strategies tailored to global audiences.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and on-time delivery of marketing materials.
  • You will manage relationships with creators, licensors, and executive leadership, while presenting strategies to important partners.
  • You will monitor campaign performance and use data-driven insights to enhance audience experiences.
  • You will stay informed on pop culture, industry trends, and competitor activities to improve campaign impact.
  • You will collaborate with media and creative agencies to produce innovative, culturally relevant marketing.
  • You will strategically solve challenges to drive growth and establish Crunchyroll as a leader in anime cinema.
  • You will ensure campaigns align with company and IP brand identity.

  • You understand digital and social marketing, using media-agnostic strategies to tell compelling, culturally relevant stories.
  • You are a pop culture and anime enthusiast, with deep insight into their influence on global audiences.
  • Experience working with licensed content is preferred.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
