Senior AI Research Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI Research Scientist to lead cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing innovative AI solutions, publishing in top-tier conferences, and driving the strategic direction of AI technologies within the organization.

1. AI Research & Development

• Conduct advanced research in AI, including machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), reinforcement learning (RL), and natural language processing (NLP).
  
• Develop novel AI algorithms, frameworks, and methodologies to solve complex real-world problems.
  
• Stay updated with the latest AI research trends and implement state-of-the-art models in projects.
  
• Contribute to patents and publications in top AI conferences and journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICLR, ACL).
  

2. AI Model Development & Optimization

• Design, train, and fine-tune AI models for various applications, such as computer vision, NLP, robotics, and autonomous systems.
  
• Optimize AI models for efficiency, scalability, and deployment in real-world environments.
  
• Utilize frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face for AI model development.
  

3. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Teamwork

• Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
  
• Collaborate with academic institutions and research communities to enhance AI research capabilities.
  
• Provide technical mentorship to junior researchers and data scientists.
  

4. Data Analysis & Experimentation

• Design and conduct experiments to validate AI models and evaluate their performance using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score
  
• Analyze large datasets to derive insights and improve AI model robustness.
  
• Implement A/B testing and other evaluation strategies to compare AI approaches.
  

5. AI Ethics & Responsible AI

• Ensure AI models are fair, transparent, and unbiased.
  
• Work on explainable AI (XAI) to enhance model interoperability and trust.
  
• Address AI safety concerns and comply with AI governance and regulatory standards.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of experience in AI research, preferably in an industrial or academic setting.
  

2. Technical Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
  
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
  
• Proficiency in big data processing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  
• Experience in generative AI (e.g., transformers, diffusion models, LLMs like GPT, BERT, DALL·E).
  
• Knowledge of Bayesian modelling, probabilistic inference, and reinforcement learning.
  

3. Research & Publications:

• Proven track record of research papers in top AI conferences/journals.
  
• Experience contributing to open-source AI projects is a plus.
  

4. Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and lead AI research initiatives.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in multi-modal AI, robotics, or AI-powered healthcare.
  
• Familiarity with federated learning and AI privacy techniques.
  
• Understanding of AI hardware acceleration (GPUs, TPUs, edge AI).
