Job Description
- Perform day-to-day general accounting activities, including accounts payable / receivable, fixed assets and general ledger maintenance
- Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure they are done in a timely manner and in accordance with the accounting policy
- Perform month end closing activities.
- Perform Balance sheet reconciliations, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Provide support in auditing and year end close process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to insure timely and accurate month closing
- Prepare internal and external reports, statistical reports and participate in preparation of tax compliance processes.
- Other accounting tasks
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of previous work experience as an accountant.
- Higher education degree in Finance/Accounting or other relevant fields.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Lithuanian tax and accounting regulations.
- Oral and written knowledge of English (B2).
- Navision experience would be a great advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Solution oriented, problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork and co-operation skills in a multi-cultural organization.
