Senior Accountant needed with 3+ years experience, strong accounting principles knowledge, Lithuanian tax and accounting regulations expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Job Description

Perform day-to-day general accounting activities, including accounts payable / receivable, fixed assets and general ledger maintenance
Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure they are done in a timely manner and in accordance with the accounting policy
Perform month end closing activities.
Perform Balance sheet reconciliations, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
Provide support in auditing and year end close process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to insure timely and accurate month closing
Prepare internal and external reports, statistical reports and participate in preparation of tax compliance processes.
Other accounting tasks

Qualifications

At least 3 years of previous work experience as an accountant.
Higher education degree in Finance/Accounting or other relevant fields.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Lithuanian tax and accounting regulations.
Oral and written knowledge of English (B2).
Navision experience would be a great advantage.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
Solution oriented, problem-solving skills.
Teamwork and co-operation skills in a multi-cultural organization.
