The Role:

FilmFreeway is seeking a strategic Senior Account Executive to spearhead the development of our new business vertical targeting sponsorships for national brands.You’ll be the first dedicated account executive for FilmFreeway, and will be joining our Executive Director of Media & Client Services and our Partnerships Manager who both work across the TCS brands. Our team culture is fast paced and collaborative. We work with many departments to co-create strategy and believe that in helping others we all do better. 

As our Senior Account Executive, you’ll be charged with developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan to connect major brands with the world's most talented and innovative filmmakers. You will leverage your knowledge of the industry to identify compelling opportunities for brands to position their products and services to our audience of professional filmmakers. You will prospect and engage brands, create custom compelling presentations, build relationships with stakeholders and decision makers, and usher deals through close.This is an individual contributor role that provides the opportunity to own, shape, and define a new business vertical that will drive revenue growth and directly impact business performance. Success in this position could open up significant career growth pathways across our brands, including a road to lead national brand sales across all TCS brands. Compensation for this role is structured as a base salary plus uncapped commission, with OTE of $150K+ annually.

The Senior Account Executive will report to the Executive Director, Media and Client Services of TCS, the Creative Division of Cast & Crew.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand the new business vertical.
  • Identify national brands that align with FilmFreeway’s mission and values.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Develop sales materials, presentations, and proposals tailored to brand needs.
  • Conduct outreach to national brands to introduce FilmFreeway’s offerings and value proposition.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target organizations.
  • Establish outreach metrics to track and analyze the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align branding efforts and promotional strategies.
  • Ensure a seamless campaign execution by managing internal and external vendors and cross department team members throughout the campaign.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the film and advertising sectors.
  • Conduct market research to identify new target segments and refine sales strategies accordingly.
  • Continuously seek innovative ways to enhance the sales process and improve customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to enhance editorial and product initiatives related to the market segment

 

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Proven success in building and scaling a new business vertical.
  • Deep understanding of the film industry and the advertising landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Management skills and experience preferred
  • Self-driven and competitive, you enjoy identifying and converting new leads
  • Ability to translate technical language to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent project management skills; you are able to work autonomously, maintain detailed records, and be attentive and responsive to client communication
  • Proven ability to solve a wide variety of unstructured challenges
Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
The compensation range for this position is:
$75,000$85,000 USD
