Now, we’re looking for new team members to help us create the next Battlefield.

The Role: We are looking for an experienced Production Line Director to join us in our studio’s mission to create amazing games and experiences, and to elevate ourselves and our craft. We seek someone who is passionate about growing great people. You will mentor and coach a wide range of Production staff, ranging from junior to very senior Production Directors. You will partner effectively with the Studio Production Director to lead the Production team. This role focuses on the people of the Production team, to grow their long-term skills and identify and achieve career goals. You will also partner with other craft team Line Managers to create and drive studio initiatives, and help develop and enhance our studio high performance culture.

This role will report to the Studio Line Director.

We are considering on-site and hybrid working options.

What skills do we look for?

  • Coaching, mentoring, and career development for Production Directors and Managers, through 1-on-1’s and other recurring interactions

  • Provide regular feedback that supports individual growth

  • Resource and talent planning for Production team

  • Performance and salary reviews

  • Identify talent opportunities for the Production team and drive recruitment

  • Partner with Line Managers from other crafts to grow and develop Ripple Effect’s Line Organization

We believe that you have experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in game development, and have led a Production team through a fully shipped game.

  • Experience both as an individual contributor and a manager, including managing a range of Production Staff, encompassing both junior and senior talent

  • A passion for mentoring and growing others

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)

    • $160,200 - $229,100 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
