Physical Design CPU Lead, Google Cloud

This role involves leading the physical design of CPUs for Google Cloud's custom silicon solutions. Responsibilities include leading the physical design to tape-out, collaborating with multiple team members, and developing physical design methodologies. The position requires working with architects and logic designers to conduct feasibility studies and define design targets. This role also involves participation in design reviews, issue resolution, and technical/schedule tradeoff discussions. The candidate will create execution plans and manage team efforts from concept to volume production. A strong understanding of architecture and design specifications is essential, along with the ability to define physical design strategies to meet quality and schedule goals. The work contributes directly to the development of custom silicon solutions for Google's direct-to-consumer products.
