The Role
As a Retail National Account Manager you will manage the daily relationship with a portfolio of our Retail partners as well as helping to pitch, negotiate and onboard new partners as we build the Retail vertical.You will use your expertise and strong data analysis to enable partners’ success on the platform: using insights and influence to increase their sales, optimise their range, menu setup etc and helping improve their daily operations.  As the Retail vertical is new and growing you will combine this with New Business Development to help find and onboard new partners to grow your category.Working on a brand new business vertical as we build it means you will often have to overcome challenges that Deliveroo is facing for the first time, shaping the future of the business and our relationship with our customers, riders and partners.

You will:
  • Manage the end to end relationship with your portfolio of live partners developing those relationships and using analysis to find growth opportunities
  • Work with partner marketing counterparts to deliver marketing campaigns that create value for your partners and grow the Retail business
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of your partner specific goals, presenting insights and actions in regular partner meetings including operational and commercial reviews.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to your partners on how to grow their on demand delivery business
  • Identify opportunities to developing the relationship with your partners by involving and working with other parts of the Deliveroo business
  • Together with your Client Partner find, pitch, negotiate and onboard new partners to the platform
Requirements
  • Experience in account management or a strategic sales or partnerships role required, experience in Retail or FMCG companies advantageous
  • Ability to manage data and create compelling insight that is clear and applicable
  • Effective relationship-building and communication skills
  • Experience working in a dynamic high-growth company
