About the role

Fortis Games is hiring a senior support Engineer to manage, execute, and track cross-functional strategic business support needs for its Global remote staff. This role will focus on providing various support aspects for team members and business partners within the geographical region but will also include remote support of other regions as needed.

What you’ll achieve

  • Maintain and support various systems within the tech stack.
  • Collaborate with local leads and teams to identify and deliver on their needs.
  • Manage setup and recovery of laptops, IT equipment, and software for staff transitions.
  • Act as a regional expert, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations in strategy and execution.
  • Identify, onboard, and work with local vendors to meet equipment and software needs.
  • Engage in regional project tasks, tracking progress in tools like Zendesk, ClickUp, JIRA, Confluence, and Google Workspace.
  • Build relationships to execute projects with high quality and on schedule.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal/external stakeholders and keep project documentation up to date.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Technical Support Experience: Proven experience supporting remote teams, proficient with Mac and Windows, IT and AV support for both, office and remote staff.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Skilled in vendor coordination, sourcing, and procurement to meet tight timelines.
  • Project Management: Capable of managing multi-stakeholder projects with solid documentation skills for BAU processes.
  • Staff Onboarding and Offboarding: Effective onboarding (hardware setup, software access) and offboarding (hardware recovery, access revocation).
  • Systems and Tool Expertise: Proficient with Zendesk, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, JAMF, Intune, and asset management tools.
  • Networking Knowledge: Basic IT networking and experience with Cisco Meraki.
  • Game Development Environment: Experience working in a game development environment is a plus
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
