Job Description

As a Leads Development Representative (LDR) at Milestone Systems, you'll play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying new customers, primarily leveraging events and website leads. Responsibilities include lead qualification, needs assessment, lead distribution to the sales team, appointment setting, identifying key decision-makers, pipeline development, Salesforce data entry, and managing team inboxes. This hybrid role, based in Lake Oswego, Oregon (relocation assistance not provided), offers a chance to accelerate your sales career within a supportive and motivating environment. The LDR will work closely with the sales team and contribute to optimizing revenue streams.

We are looking for our next colleague to drive our new customer lead qualification. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for lead qualification, focusing on leveraging events and our website as lead sources. As a Leads Development Representative (LDR), you will be crucial in identifying potential customers, evaluating their needs, and effectively distributing qualified leads to our sales organization.

This hybrid position will work from our Americas Headquarters in beautiful Lake Oswego, Oregon. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.

The LDR will join our Global Lead Qualification Team. As part of this team, you play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our leads qualification process to optimize our revenue stream. Your primary responsibility will be:

  • To secure high-quality lead qualification of incoming leads (from events and website) and distributing these to your sales colleagues in the region

What you'll do on a day-to-day basis: 

  • Prospecting, researching, and identifying new leads by using a variety of approaches 
  • While you won't interact with customers face-to-face, you will have the opportunity to do so over the phone, building relationships and providing valuable insights.
  • Moving prospects through the top of the sales funnel by setting appointments with the sales team.
  • Identifying key decision makers within these prospects.
  • Engaging proactively with and coordinating with the sales team to develop and grow the sales pipeline.
  • Capturing all relevant information in Salesforce with strong attention to detail.
  • Managing the team inbox to answer and route inquiries to the appropriate team.

What we imagine the ideal candidate profile to look like:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience. Sales experience can be diverse and acquired from various sources, and if you have experience with outbound phone calls, it is an additional advantage.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Salesforce is an advantage.

The annual on-target earnings for this position range from $54,376 to $83,650, with most candidates falling in the $67,970 to $78,427 range. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes medical/dental benefits, FSA or HSA, 401k with 6% Safe Harbor employer match, paid parental leave, generous PTO (20 days' vacation, 10 days paid sick time, and 12 company holidays), fully paid Short Term disability policy, fully paid Long Term disability policy, and Life Insurance.
