Java Engineer

We’re excited to partner with one of the largest eCommerce companies in the world to find a talented Java Engineer for a 12-month contract opportunity in San Jose, CA. This hybrid role offers the chance to join a dynamic team working on high-impact projects.

As a Java Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of the Software Engineering team, responsible for designing and developing applications for backend systems. You will use your expertise to build innovative solutions that scale and align with business needs, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Java Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance platform and systems infrastructure, leveraging a strong background in distributed systems, network system design, and large-scale database systems.
• Research, analyze, design, develop, and test solutions that align with both business and technology strategies.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and project-related team meetings.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, product managers, and operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and quality goals.
• Develop technical expertise and apply it to solving complex product challenges.

Java Engineer - Requirements:

• Highly proficient in Java with strong experience in backend development.
• Familiar with RestAPI and Springboot Framework.
• Solid SQL experience.
• QA Automation experience using Java.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week, and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
