Key Objectives:
- Sample Fit review and Approval
- Manage sealing for fit, measurement and workmanship within the development and OPD calendar time frame.
- Manage Final Measurement chart approval before bulk production.
- Execute induction training for new Suppliers on Pattern system and quality standards / Measurement chart / Technical documents.
- Execute advance Technical training and Workshop for suppliers on timely basis with the help of Specialist in the industry.
- Travel periodically to factories to review and upgrade their progress on sampling performance.
- Review Technical Packs for accuracy & completeness at various development stage.
- Provide feedback on Technical pack accuracy / completeness & enhancements to product developers
- Carry out Initial Technical reviews with Suppliers at sample proto stage on a selective basis. Work on Preventative measures at the earliest development stage with the consideration on Production feasibility.
- Provide technical support during the Product development trip.
- Carry out assignments at the discretion of the Technical Manager.
Eligibility Criteria and Functional Competencies Required:
- Technical qualification in garment / textile or business type degree
- 5yrs or above working experience in a related field
- Good communication skills in English, HIndi are required
- Computer skill - MS office, Power Point
- Ability to build strong relationships with various working stakeholders
- Knowledge of pattern making and fitting
- A working knowledge of woven and knit fabric would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Gerber & V stitcher is highly preferred.
- Familiar with various international test method and standards (ISO, JIS)
