Job Description

Responsible for large size tradeshows from kiosk booth space up to 30X30+ booth space.
Research trade shows, conferences and industry events to ensure we are attending the most strategic events to enhance Rackspace ROI.
Manages event logistics including but not limited to: researching venues, booking events dates, booking room blocks, meeting space, client dinners, registering Rackers and guests, manages guest lists, etc.
Researches promotional opportunities, vendors and marketing materials to develop ideas and implement promotions.
Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedure as directed.
Acts as a consultant to departments in planning and executing smaller events and meetings, dinners, happy hours, sales events.
Guides on general seminar schedules and locales to managers and field sales to assist with
finalizing a general plan to ensure complete marketplace coverage.
Responsible for developing, training, on-boarding and mentoring new hires.
Manages and oversees all logistics and execution for company’s involvement with event including
designing booths and materials, working with show management, labor unions, city permits,
exhibit management company, A/V arrangements, etc.
Operates under general supervision with latitude for independent decision making.
