Job Description
The Financial Analyst II performs moderately complex financial analyses on cash flows, operating results, and business plans. Responsibilities include preparing forecasts, analyzing industry trends, conducting budget analysis, assessing business expense improvement options, and creating profitability analyses. The role involves collaborating with department managers on budgeting processes, developing monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports, and forecasting cash flow, sales, expenses, profitability, and department performance. Strong Excel skills are required, with experience in Anaplan and OneStream preferred. The position is remote within specific Mexican states and requires fluency in both English and Spanish.

Job Details
The Financial Analyst II performs moderately complex financial analyses on cash flows, operating results, and business plans to determine rates of return, capital/cash flow requirements, etc. Prepares forecasts and analyses on industry and general economic trends. Responsible for budget analysis. Works under general supervision, with occasional review of completed assignments.
Work Location: Remote in Mexico
- Fluent, Bi-lingual (Spanish and English): Please submit a resume in English to be considered for the role. All interviews will be held in English.
- The role can be worked remotely in the states of Ciudad de Mexico, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Aguascalientes, Queretaro, Estado de Mexico and Puebla.
- This opportunity is a permanent remote job, but you need to be based in Mexico at one of the above locations.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and evaluates the company's operating results and financial position.
- Assesses options for improvement on business expenses.
- Prepares profitability analyses.
- Assists department managers with budgeting process: plans, develops, prepares, inputs and maintains company’s budgets.
- Work with department managers through the development process of each budget.
- Actively participates in the development process of each budget with department managers.
- Budgets include monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports, which exemplify revenues and expenses.
- Forecasts accurate and timely cash flow projections, sales projections, expense projections, profitability, headcount, department performance, and direct expenses.
Knowledge/Skills
- General knowledge of budgeting, financial statements, cash management, and financial analysis processes.
- General understanding of business valuation.
- Ability to create moderately complex forecasting models.
- Must also possess high attention to detail and be comfortable doing data analysis for extended periods of time.
- Intermediate-advanced Excel skills are required.
- Experience with Anaplan and OneStream is preferred but optional.
- Must have intermediate presentation skills, the ability to express complex quantitative concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Intermediate communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups.
- Ability to provide FANATICAL support.
