The Sr Staff Professional Services Engineer will join a collaborative, innovative team with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, system optimization, and quality delivery. This is an individual contributor role that works closely with cross-functional teams, system architects, and end-user technical teams. Key responsibilities include leading solution design, deployment, and optimization efforts for Gigamon's network visibility and security products, identifying deployment alternatives and proposing optimized solutions for customers, ensuring technical compliance with security standards and policies, collaborating with technical teams to guide security policy implementation and compliance, automating and streamlining post-sales processes, conducting testing, documentation, and pilot deliveries to ensure high-quality deployment results.
Must have:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in network tools and applications
- Strong technical expertise in network protocols
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms
- Proficiency in programming languages
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
Good to have:
- A basic-level cloud certification
- Familiarity with security frameworks and cybersecurity standards
- Experience with SDKs and additional programming languages
- Portuguese language skills

This role focuses on post-sales deployment and optimization of Gigamon’s network visibility solutions, ensuring positive business outcomes for customers. The Sr Staff Professional Services Engineer will join a collaborative, innovative team with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, system optimization, and quality delivery. What You’ll Do:
- Lead solution design, deployment, and optimization efforts for Gigamon’s network visibility and security products.
- Identify deployment alternatives and propose optimized solutions for customers across various industries, including mobile networks, service providers, and enterprises.
- Ensure technical compliance with security standards and policies (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS, NIST), and work with system architects to meet security requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to guide security policy implementation and compliance.
- Automate and streamline post-sales processes to enhance customer experience and accelerate time to value.
- Conduct testing, documentation, and pilot deliveries to ensure high-quality deployment results.
What You’ve Done:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in the design, deployment, and management of network tools and applications, with a focus on security and scalability.
- Strong technical expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, L2/L3, IPv4, IPv6) at a CCNP Networking or Security level, or similar certification.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenStack) is desirable. A basic-level cloud certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C) and familiarity with APIs is desirable.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate with virtual teams across geographies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001/27002, CIS, NIST) is highly desirable.
- Experience with SDKs and additional programming languages is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Portuguese language skills are a plus.
