Job Description

As an Employee Engagement Intern at Zscaler's People & Culture team, you'll report to the VP of Global Employee Engagement. Responsibilities include analyzing employee trends to create innovative communication and reward ideas; collaborating on AI tools for personalized recognition and communication; conducting neuroscience research to understand employee motivation; developing and testing innovative employee experience programs; and presenting findings through creative reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate is a rising sophomore or junior studying neuroscience, psychology, organizational behavior, data science, or a related field, with familiarity with AI tools and data analysis techniques.

We’re looking for an Employee Engagement Intern to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the VP of Global Employee Engagement, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Analyze employee trends and use data to create innovative communication and reward ideas.
  • Collaborate with the Engagement team to design and explore AI tools that personalize recognition and optimize communication.
  • Conduct neuroscience research to understand what motivates people and how to improve engagement.
  • Develop innovative programs that elevate the employee experience and test your ideas in real-world scenarios.
  • Share your findings and recommendations through creative presentation, dashboards, or reports.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Rising sophomore or junior actively studying neuroscience, psychology, organizational behavior, data science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and basic data analysis techniques such as data visualization or machine learning.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for understanding how people think and work.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Google Slides, or data visualization platforms such as Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas simply and effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and juggle multiple tasks with ease.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$25$50 USD
