Tesla's Design and Construction Project Management teams in Berlin are seeking a creative Architect with retail and industrial design experience. Responsibilities include collaborating with Architects of Record for site measurements and design intent drawings (using Revit) for retrofit and new build projects (Tesla Service & Sale Centers, Bodyshops, Distribution Centers). This role requires managing 3rd party Architects & Engineers' deliverables, aligning with internal stakeholders, creating construction sets and tender packages for General Contractors, and ensuring projects meet Tesla Design Standards and deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction technical engineering, project management, building codes (including European Accessibility Act), and excellent communication skills. The role involves overseeing design efforts from concept to delivery.
Must have:
- Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent
- Proficient in Revit and BIM 360
- Knowledge of local building codes
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Understanding of project scheduling

Our Design and Construction Project Management teams at Tesla deliver services for new Tesla showrooms, service centers, delivery hubs, bodyshops and distribution centers across the region. Tesla is looking for a creative architect with experience in retail and industrial design who can think out-side of the box.
- Responsible to engage with Architect of Records to perform site measurements and visiting sites to gain a clear understanding of existing conditions
- Provide design intent drawings (within REVIT platform) for retro-fit and new buildconstruction projects for new Tesla Service and Sale Centers, Bodyshops and Distribution Centers.
- Coordinate and Manage the deliverables of 3rd party Architects & Engineers to ensure full 100% drawings are received and fully align with Tesla Design Standards.
- Manage and align with internal stakeholders on final project deliverables to ensure requirements are met and expectations are clear.
- This person will own the design efforts for construction and infrastructure development from concept to delivery
- Create construction sets and tender packages for General Contractors (GCs) to support efficient and accurate project execution.
- Master’s degree in Architecture or Construction Engineering or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- Proficient in REVIT and BIM 360, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud package, full understanding of CAD applications and international drawing convention standards
- Knowledge and experience working with local building code, European Accessibility act, zoning, and other applicable laws
- Understanding of project scheduling and the ability to communicate and work closely with consultants to ensure that project milestones are being met on time and complete
- Strong understanding of Construction Technical Engineering and its implementation processes
- Advanced project management skills, demonstrated application of project and program management fundamentals to complex engineering problems
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with ability to understand complex problems and distill the message into a clear plan
