Job Description

As a Data Engineer at Revolgy, you'll be a key part of the Data and AI team, focusing on helping clients understand and leverage their data for business efficiency and growth. This role blends technical data engineering tasks with strong collaboration and customer understanding. Responsibilities include analyzing data flows and business processes, identifying optimization opportunities, performing data profiling and discovery, designing and implementing scalable data models and pipelines using GCP tools (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, Dataplex, Datastream, Dataproc), contributing to BI solutions with Looker, and supporting AI initiatives with Vertex AI. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience in data analysis, architecture design, and pipeline development with strong GCP expertise.

Must have:

3+ years data engineering experience
Strong GCP Data Stack expertise (BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.)
Data profiling and discovery skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills

Good to have:

Looker and Vertex AI familiarity

Our Data and AI team is looking for a colleague to join them! Your main goal as the Data Engineer would be to help our clients understand and leverage their data to enable their business' efficiency and growth.

Location 🌍 Remote position open to candidates in Europe.

What Will You Do? 🔧

Analyze data flows, business processes and system integrations & identify opportunities for optimization and iprovement.
Perform data profiling and discovery to uncover key insights and ensure data quality.
Design and implement scalable data models and pipelines aligned with business objectives and long-term strategies.
Build and maintain solutions using Google Cloud Platform tools, including but not limited to BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, Dataplex, Datastream, and Dataproc.
Contribute to the implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Looker to enable data-driven decision-making.
Support AI initiatives by collaborating on projects leveraging Vertex AI for predictive analytics and machine learning solutions.

What You Bring 🎯

3+ years of experience in analyzing data flows, designing data architectures and developing data pipelines.
Strong hands-on expertise with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data stack, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataplex, Dataform, Datastream, and Dataproc.
Familiarity with BI tools, especially Looker and AI frameworks such as Vertex AI.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong initiative.
Proficiency in data profiling and discovery techniques.
Strong communication skills.
