Job Description: Product Analytics Manager
Overview: As the Product Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for leading the product analytics function within the organization. You will shape the data strategy, ensure the delivery of product insights, and foster the growth of your team members through upskilling. This is a high-impact role, reporting trends and analysis to leadership to drive critical decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead the product analytics vertical, managing a team of 3-5+ Product Analysts.
- Define the organization’s product analytics vision and ensure its alignment with overall business goals.
- Take ownership of upskilling team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide the team in advanced product analytics techniques, ensuring high performance and growth.
Functional Expertise:
- Drive trend analysis around growth across multiple business & product dimensions and present key findings to leadership.
- Design and operationalize dynamic dashboards covering core business & product metrics and trend visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, heatmaps).
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data warehouse strategy, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of data sets.
Data Analysis & Problem Solving:
- Provide expertise in data analytics techniques such as exploratory analysis, causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning where applicable.
- Identify and close data gaps by collaborating with relevant teams and ensuring data is collected to meet organizational needs.
- Automate reporting using Python, Metabase, or other tools, creating scalable solutions for online and offline data systems.
- Implement best practices in data handling, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and availability of insights.
Trend Sharing & Stakeholder Management:
- Own the responsibility of sharing key trends and insights with leadership to guide strategic decision-making.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven initiatives and execute business strategies.
To Succeed In The Role:
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.tech, MCA or related areas.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics with 3+ years in Product domain, with a focus on leading teams and delivering data strategies.
- Experience in Ed-Tech is a plus
Skills & Expertise:
- Strong business acumen & product thinking with the ability to drive data strategy and provide actionable insights for business growth.
- Expertise in SQL, GA4 , Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, BigQuery, Python, Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, PowerBIand quantitative programming.
- Experience working with large datasets and applying data engineering best practices.
- Proven ability to create, manage, and optimize data pipelines and warehouses.
Technical Competency:
- Ability to convert data into actionable reports with real-time data fetching.
- Proficiency in developing business use cases through thorough data analysis.
