Summary

The Customer Training Instructor at IGT is responsible for marketing activities, including research, promotions, and product training. This role involves liaising between the company, lottery officials, and retailers; developing and delivering training on equipment and games; promoting sales through retailer visits; assisting in field research and sales program development; and supervising IGT activities at marketing events. Additional responsibilities include assisting with new game implementation and testing, creating sales presentations, participating in sales meetings, maintaining training documents, and troubleshooting retailer issues.

Responsibilities

 

Responsible for the marketing activities in an assigned region, including but not limited to:


•    Marketing research, and developing and implementing marketing promotions and product training.
•    Serves as a liaison between company, lottery officials and retailers.
•    Develops and provides training to retailers, lottery officials and company staff on the operations of company equipment and games.
•    Visits retailers to promote sales.
•    Assists in field research
•    Assists in the development and implementation of programs to increase sales.
•    Supervises the IGT gaming activities at marketing fairs and events.
•    Assists with implementation of new games and new game improvements. 
•    Assists in the planning, coordination and participation in all new game testing.
•    Designs and produces game/product sales presentations.
•     Participates in regional and statewide sales meetings and conferences.
•    Maintains/updates all training documents and reference guides for retailers and local staff.
•    Assists lottery personnel with retailer trouble-shooting/chronic retailer issues.
•    Assists with other projects as assigned. 

Qualifications

 

•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
•    2-4 years' experience in a marketing role.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $39,848 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
