Job Overview:
The Content Manager for Non Fiction format at STAGE will oversee the creative development, execution, and delivery of non fiction projects across various formats including short /Long formats in singles and in series along with acquisition. This role combines creative vision, strategic execution, and audience engagement to ensure that all non fiction projects align with STAGE’s vision and resonate with diverse audiences, with a focus on culturally relevant content.
Job Responsibilities:
Content Development:
- Identify and develop new non-fiction concepts and formats that align with STAGE's audience preferences and brand value while managing both individual writers and the Writer's Room for in-house research based script development format wise .
- Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement to ensure shooting scripts are culturally resonant and meet high quality standards.
- Work with both individual writers and the Writer's Room for inhouse research based script development.
- Collaborate with writers, directors, and producers / creators to shape the vision of devotional , sports , documentaries, docuseries, or reality content.
- Ensure content aligns with the company’s brand, target audience, and market trends.
- Project Management:- Oversee production schedules and timelines while managing budgets, contracts, and agreements with external vendors and production houses. Supervise post-production processes with an in-house production team to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Research and Fact-Checking:- Ensure content accuracy by coordinating in-depth research and fact-checking. Collaborate with researchers and consultants to provide credible sources for Devotional , Sports , documentaries and non-fiction stories.
Content Strategy:
- Develop content strategies that align with company goals and audience demand.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and viewer data to improve programming decisions.
Creative Collaboration:
- Work closely with creative teams to maintain consistency in tone, narrative, and quality of non-fiction content.
- Provide feedback on scripts, production plans, and edits.
Legal and Compliance:
- Ensure content adheres to all legal and ethical guidelines, including copyright and defamation laws.
- Coordinate with legal teams to secure permissions, clearances, and licenses.
Networking and Partnerships:
- Build relationships with production houses and talent agencies.
- Attend industry events and film festivals to stay updated on emerging trends and talent.
Audience Engagement and Feedback:
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote non-fiction content.
- Monitor audience feedback and analytics to refine future projects.
Innovation and Trends:
- Stay ahead of trends in storytelling, technology, and formats within non-fiction (e.g., Devotional . Sports , VR documentaries, interactive content).
- Experiment with new ways to engage audiences through innovative content formats.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Non Fiction content management or a related role within the long duration content production or OTT industry.
- Must have experience in execution of non-fiction shows experience in a OTT/TV/production house environment.
- demonstrating a profound understanding of Non fiction content development and audience engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are locally rooted in Rajasthan or nearby regions, with a strong understanding of Rajasthani culture and societal nuances.
