Project description

We have been engaged by a prominent Australian company to collaborate on their Treasury projects. Our goal is to build an onshore team that will work closely with their existing team to drive these initiatives forward.

We are seeking experienced Business Analysts with over 6 years of relevant experience, specializing in transformation and integration projects. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in data sourcing, mapping, ETL processes, and Treasury data, including positions, trades, settlements, and accounts. This is a high-profile engagement, offering a unique opportunity to expand our offshore footprint with this client rapidly. You will be working alongside an Architect, Project Manager, Solution Designer, Tech Lead, and Infrastructure Integration Specialist to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze business requirements.

Facilitate transformation and integration projects between upstream and downstream systems.

Develop and document detailed business and system requirements.

Ensure data quality and consistency across different systems through effective data sourcing and mapping strategies.

Design, implement, and manage ETL processes to support data integration needs.

Work with Treasury data, ensuring accurate handling of positions, trades, settlements, accounts, etc.

Support project delivery by liaising with the Architect, Project Manager,

Solution Designer, Tech Lead, and Infrastructure Integration Specialist.

Conduct impact analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Prepare and present project status reports and updates to senior management.

Skills

Must have

6+ years of relevant experience in business analysis with a focus on transformation and integration projects.

Experience in financial services or banking industry.

Proven experience in managing integration between upstream and downstream systems.

Strong knowledge of control, data sourcing, mapping, and ETL processes.

Hands-on experience with Treasury data, including positions, trades, settlements, accounts, etc.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to document detailed business and system requirements.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in Treasury and finance.

Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.

Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).

Understanding of cloud-based integration solutions.
