Overview of Role:

Responsible for undertaking ground data preparation and Visualization on our projects, working to generate maximum value and encourage digital working through your BIM skills.

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of project-related tasks to meet budget, timeframe, and quality targets whilst meeting or exceeding client expectations. You will take opportunities to promote and market all facets of Arcadis services during interfaces with clients and other sectors and disciplines, contributing towards the achievement of the business plan and building networks within the industry.

Role Accountabilities:

Collaborate with the Geotechnical team to apply technical solutions and methodologies for project success.

Perform BIM Modeling for Geotechnical design discipline under the direction of a design professional and BIM Manager.

Prepare engineering drawings according to project standards.

Utilize MicroStation and specialized geotechnical data management software to create geological cross-section diagrams and 3D outputs.

Calculate and create earthworks volumes, corridors, sections, and profiles using Open Roads.

Coordinate with other disciplines to address design challenges and adhere to BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.

Contribute to the technical development of the Ground Data Visualization and Geotechnical teams, communicate client requirements, ensure compliance with Arcadis business management systems, and prioritize health and safety.

Essential Experience:

Experience in an infrastructure discipline, such as Highways or Rail.

Extensive proficiency in software including Civil3D, Microstation, OpenRoads, Synchro, BIM 360, and ProjectWise.

Strong knowledge of software interoperability and workflow integration for project deliverables.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Effective teamwork abilities with keen attention to detail.

Problem-solving aptitude with the capacity to identify innovative solutions.

Self-motivated and capable of meeting tight deadlines, with a commitment to continuous learning and career advancement in a consultancy environment applying BIM principles to infrastructure projects.

Minimum Academic Qualifications & Certification:

Strong engineering capabilities underpinned by civil engineering degree qualifications.
