Anthology seeks an Associate Software Engineer I in Bangalore, India. This hybrid role involves designing and implementing application solutions, taking ownership of production areas, resolving issues and defects, ensuring effective team communication, and identifying communication improvement areas. Responsibilities include learning and applying new system design principles. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 0-2 years of experience in C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS. Fluency in English is required.

Primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Designing and implementing solutions for the area of the application owned by the team
  • Taking ownership of the team’s product areas running in production
  • Learning and applying new system design responsibilities
  • Resolving production issues and defects for solutions owned by the team
  • Ensuring proper team and inter-team communication practices
  • Identifying issues with internal team communication practices

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
