Create stunning, realistic environments for Star Citizen. You'll model assets, build levels, and collaborate with other artists to bring the game's universe to life. Experience with AAA game development, strong modeling and shading skills, and proficiency in 3DS Max and Photoshop are essential.

Ce partenariat a évolué et, en 2020, nous avons fondé un studio de développement de jeux qui travaille avec les équipes de développement nord-américaines de Star Citizen. Notre studio à part entière couvre la technologie en ligne, l'art, les environnements, l'interface utilisateur et la création de personnages. Le 13 juillet 2023, après plus d'une décennie de collaboration réussie, nous avons fièrement annoncé notre fusion avec Cloud Imperium Games.

Cloud Imperium Games est reconnu pour créer des jeux vidéo révolutionnaires qui repoussent les limites du possible. Nos projets phares incluent Star Citizen, une simulation spatiale multijoueur record, et Squadron 42, une aventure épique en solo se déroulant dans le même univers.

Que ferez-vous ?

  • Créer des modèles d'objets environnementaux prêts à l'emploi (ensembles de construction architecturaux, organiques, etc.) pour de nouvelles planètes dans Star Citizen
  • Travailler dans l'éditeur pour créer des niveaux et des environnements
  • Créer des layouts UV efficaces qui fonctionnent bien dans les contraintes de l’engin et de la plateforme
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les Artistes de niveaux
  • Collaborer avec la direction et la production pour les estimations ainsi que la planification des tâches
  • Donner et recevoir du feedback de son équipe

Qu'attendons-nous de notre Artiste Environnement ?

  • Des environnements réalistes, variés et détaillés
  • Des créations dans le genre photoréaliste ou science-fiction
  • Une forte compréhension des aspects clés de la discipline comme la modélisation, le shading ou l'éclairage
  • Une maîtrise de 3DS Max et Photoshop
  • Une expérience antérieure en création d'environnements de haute qualité pour des jeux AAA
  • Avoir un degré élevé d'auto-motivation et d'initiative
  • Travailler et communiquer efficacement avec des designers et autres disciplines dans un processus de développement collaboratif orienté équipe
  • Avoir une solide compréhension de la création d'assets environnementaux et des méthodologies de construction à base de kits modulaires
  • Comprendre toutes les phases de la création d’environnements, du block-out à l'éclairage
  • Repousser la qualité de l'art en matière de fidélité des assets et de techniques de production

What will you do?

  • Create ready-to-use environmental object models (architectural building sets, organics, etc.) for new planets in Star Citizen
  • Work in the editor to create levels and environments
  • Create effective UV layouts that work well within the constraints of the gear and platform
  • Work in close collaboration with Level artists
  • Collaborate with management and production on estimates and job planning
  • Give and receive feedback from your team

What do we expect from our Environment Artist?

  • Realistic, varied and detailed environments
  • Creations in the photorealistic or science fiction genre
  • A strong understanding of key aspects of the discipline such as modeling, shading or lighting
  • Proficiency in 3DS Max and Photoshop
  • Previous experience in creating high quality environments for AAA games
  • Have a high degree of self-motivation and initiative
  • Work and communicate effectively with designers and other disciplines in a team-oriented collaborative development process
  • Have a solid understanding of environmental asset creation and modular kit-based construction methodologies
  • Understand all phases of environment creation, from block-out to lighting
  • Pushing the quality of art in terms of asset fidelity and production techniques
