Job Description

The Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions (SBS Engage) is responsible for driving growth and achieving quarterly business goals by managing a portfolio of small businesses. This role requires strong client relationship management skills, fluency in English and Hebrew, and expertise in online advertising, particularly Google Ads. Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic plans to maximize client return on investment (ROI), conducting consultations and pitches, understanding client growth drivers and managing risks, and delivering exceptional customer sales experiences. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical abilities, along with a proven track record of success in advertising sales and exceeding quotas.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years advertising/sales experience
  • Fluency in English and Hebrew
  • Google Ads familiarity
  • Client relationship management
  • Achieve growth targets
Good to have:
  • Google Digital Workshop certification
  • Experience in Israeli advertising market
  • Strong storytelling and narrative skills
  • Stakeholder influence
  • Multitasking and detail-oriented

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Hebrew fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising, Google Digital Workshop certification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Israel, and consistently achieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone/VC consultations and business pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
