Job Description

OtherSide Entertainment seeks a World Builder/Level Designer to create stylized worlds through environmental storytelling. Responsibilities include building polished in-game and cinematic environments using Unreal Engine, crafting compelling playable spaces, collaborating with designers to meet game economy needs, collaborating across disciplines to improve environment pipelines, adhering to art styles, and polishing environments with details. The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in level design and environment art, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and strong Unreal Engine experience. The role is full-time and remote, offering competitive compensation and benefits.
Must have:
  • Strong portfolio showcasing level design/worldbuilding
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine and its partition system
  • Experience in 3D modeling (Maya, 3DS Max, Blender)
  • Understanding of level design, environmental modeling
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with multiple shipped titles
  • Prop building (organic and hard surface)
  • Asset integration into Unreal Engine
  • Kit bashing and modular environment building
  • Experience with foliage creation/modification
