University & Community Outreach Intern

Position Summary

SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms, providing highly entertaining free-to-play games that millions of people play every day for their authenticity, engagement and fun.

SciPlay currently offers nine core games, including social casino games Jackpot Party Casino, Gold Fish Casino Slots, Hot Shot Casino and Quick Hit Slots, and casual games MONOPOLY Slots, Bingo Showdown, 88 Fortunes Slots, Backgammon Live, and Solitaire Daily Break with offices all over the world!

About the Role

The University and Community Outreach Coordinator will identify, establish, and nurture partnerships with universities and industry conferences to elevate SciPlay's reputation and candidate pipeline. This role is perfect for a proactive, outgoing, and data-driven professional who is passionate about fostering relationships and uncovering strategic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. University Partnerships: 

• Identify universities with programs in game development, computer science, information systems, art, and related fields for potential collaboration. 

• Build relationships with faculty, career centers, and student organizations to promote job opportunities at Sciplay. 

• Coordinate guest lectures, workshops, and campus recruitment events. 

2. Conference Outreach: 

• Research and identify gaming industry conferences, expos, and events where SciPlay can present, exhibit, or participate. 

• Develop a strategy for submitting speaking proposals and securing panel spots for company representatives. 

• Manage logistics for company presence at conferences, including booth setup, material preparation, and follow-up activities. 

3. Strategic Data Analysis: 

• Leverage data to evaluate the impact and ROI of university and conference partnerships. 

• Track and analyze trends in academic and industry events to identify emerging opportunities. 

• Create reports and presentations to communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders. 

4. Collaboration: 

• Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, HR, and product development, to align outreach efforts with company goals. 

• Act as a liaison between SciPlay and external partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment. 

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. 

• Experience in outreach, event coordination, or partnership management. 

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships. 

• Self-driven and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Passion for recruiting, creating partnerships, video games, tech, etc all welcome!
