Milestone seeks a Technical Product Manager, VSaaS who will define and implement a strategic product vision that aligns with company goals, prioritizes continuous value delivery, and brings the product vision to life. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to overcome complex technical
and market challenges. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure that all product initiatives are outcome-focused and data-driven. Additionally, you will capitalize on AI trends to enhance our product capabilities and help us build a competitive edge in the market.
The Technical Product Manager, VSaaS can be located anywhere in the US. The position will report to our Director of Product, VSaaS located in California.

Responsibilities:
- Outcome-Oriented Focus: Define and ensure measurable outcomes for product initiatives, prioritizing value over time to market to support an outcome-focused roadmap and organization.
- Value and Viability Leadership: Own the value and viability of product choices, aligning them with customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints to drive impact.
- Relentless Problem Solver: Demonstrate grit, creativity, and persistence in tackling complex product challenges. Collaborate with the product team (product managers, engineers, designers) to deliver innovative solutions that address real problems and achieve business results.
- Incremental Value Delivery: Drive the product vision through incremental steps, ensuring continuous and consistent value delivery throughout the development lifecycle.
- AI Integration Specialist: Leverage AI to help customers drive more intelligent decision-making. Stay updated on AI advancements to inform product strategy.
- Technical and Data-Driven Decision Maker: Understand the challenges in our technology stack and base product decisions on data, analysis, and technical judgment. Effectively communicate options, value, and trade-offs to drive informed decision-making and ensure alignment with the company’s business strategy and product vision.
- Insightful Knowledge Sharer: Develop a deep understanding of users, customers, product data, business constraints, competitive landscape, and market trends. Incorporate and share these insights to drive focus and confidence in product delivery and identify innovation opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaborator: Build and maintain strong relationships across the business. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and alignment throughout the product development lifecycle and during product launches.
- Versatile Contributor: Embrace a dynamic role, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the company and ensure product success.
Professional Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in an early-stage company.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
- Perspective: Strong understanding of agile design and development processes in a startup environment. Comfortable with navigating ambiguity, with strong opinions that are loosely held and open to new information and perspectives.
- Skills: A balanced skill set that includes technical expertise (working with highly technical engineering teams) and business acumen (B2B experience dealing with complex business needs).
- Strong Communication: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and switch contexts.
- Technical Acumen: Experience developing and launching products/technologies within one or more: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise.
- Product Management: Strong product/project/program management fundamentals, with a proven ability to keep stakeholders informed and close the loop on communication.
- Data: Experience with data visualization tools/modeling with an understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting concepts, with a portfolio of successful analytics products launched for enterprise customers.

This position's annual on-target earnings (OTE) range from $143,594 to $223,226, with most candidates falling in the $180,485 to $204,505 range. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes medical/dental benefits, FSA or HSA, 401k with 6% Safe Harbor employer match, paid parental leave, generous PTO (20 days' vacation, 10 days paid sick time, and 12 company holidays), fully paid Short Term disability policy, fully paid Long Term disability policy, and Life Insurance.
