We are an internet product company building exciting games/game formats for multi-million users, who are highly engaged with the games that we publish. The games are delivered on Android, iOS & Web(React.Js/phaser) platforms powered by a game engine and a seamless platform. We take pride in the smooth UI, ability to handle high concurrency with near-single-digit millisecond latencies. Ours is a hybrid platform with computes running on both on-prem and in the cloud. We have plethora of serverless functions and microservices built either on NodeJs or Java. We user web sockets & messaging services to power game interactions at a real-time basis. During peak hours we experience many multiples of load seen from off-peak hours and our application & infrastructure is tuned to handle the loads optimally. Our systems generate many gigabytes of data everyday which is fed to our analytics engine for generating actionable insights. Our current game offerings are rummy, poker, carrom, pool & fantasy sports and we want to add games that would be highly engaging to gamers. Our goal is to offer the best experience possible, constantly raising the bar higher for performance, scalability, reusability, security as we move. Role: Technical Lead
We are looking for a skilled React.js developer to join our front-end development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase.You should have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and React concepts, excellent front-end coding skills, and a good understanding of progressive web applications. You should be good at team management and able to provide technical guidance to the team. You should be good at effort estimation for the requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
- Previous experience working as a react.js developer with at least 7-12 years of experience.
- Prior experience in leading a team
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, React JS, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
- Experience with user interface design.
- Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha / Jest.
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Should be able to handle both UI and Functionalities.
- Experience with third party integrations for functionality and UI is an added advantage.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in game development is an advantage but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with the product team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
- Plan and Prepare release items.
- Manage a team of developers.
- Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
- Identifying web-based user interactions.
- Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts.
- Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following react.js workflows.
- Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
- Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
- Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
- Planning the dev tasks for release and assure delivery of them on time.
