As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. Make open source secure and safe for Google and industry. Open source is now widely used not only by Google, but throughout the infrastructure of the modern world. Although open systems are easier to inspect, in practice the complexity is very high and many key components lack the "eyes" needed to make them trustworthy. Our team is here to help make fundamental changes to the processes used for open source development, so security is no longer an after-thought. Our team works internally across Google and externally across the industry.
