This Software Engineer II role focuses on the P2020 Monitoring, Prober Service at Google. Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Work on tasks that are part of projects that will be seen by users across Google.
Develop and maintain working relationships within our distributed team across multiple time zones, sharing knowledge on and learning relevant technical areas and Site Reliability Engineering.
Execute independently on agreed objectives with proper guidance, escalating appropriately when required.
Participate in the production deployment of services and ongoing production support.
Partner with other teams and functions Product Manager and UX in coordination with engineering leadership to understand and deliver the product experience for our users.
