Software Engineer, Enterprise Applications

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer, Enterprise Applications for an exciting contract opportunity with a top-tier Fintech client. This is a 6+ month contract position, fully remote, with an application deadline of Monday, 12/16/24.

This role offers a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions using cutting-edge iPaaS and ETL technologies like Workato and Airflow. You will be instrumental in enhancing the scalability, reliability, and security of integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, technical program managers (TPMs), and integration developers. This is an excellent chance to contribute to establishing best practices and improving application software within a secure infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Workato, Airflow, and other iPaaS/ETL technologies.
• Optimize integration processes to enhance reliability, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, TPMs, and developers—to meet integration and business requirements.
• Gain a deep understanding of internal systems and infrastructure to drive effective integration solutions.
• Partner with infrastructure and security teams to ensure integrations adhere to organizational standards.
• Establish and implement best practices for application development and process improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience with iPaaS technologies, particularly Workato.
• Hands-on experience designing ETL processes using Airflow or similar tools.
• Expertise in API integration engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Solid knowledge of technical infrastructure for application deployment.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
