Your Team, Your Impact
NSX(Network Switching Group): We at NSX are building next-gen cloud datacenter silicon systems which will be used in proprietary or open source network operating system (NOS) based on Linux based solutions.
We are looking for passionate engineers with focus on execution and quality to help innovate and develop highly scalable and distributed embedded network software.
What You Can Expect
- Contribute to all phases of software development from requirement gathering through architect/design, implementation, UT/Functional testing and maintaining multiple software components.
- Create innovative solutions for complex technical problems.
- Work with various cross-functional groups such as Architecture, other development teams, QA/Validation, System Test, Product Management, Product Documentation, Customer teams
- Collaborate with teams across various sites.
What We're Looking For
- We are looking for technology passionate engineers with focus on execution and quality to help innovate and develop highly scalable and distributed embedded network software.
- Bachelor’s in computer science/ECE/MCA with 7+ years of experience or Masters in CS/ECE with 6+ years of experience.
- Experience in SDK development in Switching/Routing ASIC is a big plus
- Hands on experience on switch/router embedded system software development
- Working experience in L2 switching/forwarding areas such as LAG, VLAN, xSTP, LLDP, Link OAM, ARP, VxLAN, DC fabric switching, etc
- Working experience in areas like ACL, QoS, Policers, TCAM, etc
- Extensive experience in programming languages such as C/C++/Python
- Experience in Linux kernel, SERDES, board bring up etc.
