Senior Software Engineer

The opportunity
Unity's R&D team is on the lookout for a talented Fullstack Developer to join us on an exciting journey. As part of our forward-thinking team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our major web applications, working with the latest technologies, and contributing to the performance, scalability, and availability of our products.

What you'll be doing

• Architect and Develop: Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead, Mentor, and Manage Projects: Guide and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment, while overseeing full project lifecycles from requirements gathering to deployment to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Innovate Solutions: Provide innovative solutions for large-scale data and traffic, and solve complex technical challenges using the latest technologies.
• Next-Generation Tools: Play a critical role in building our next generation of tools and applications, driving forward technological advancements.

What we're looking for

• Backend Development: Experience with one or more of the following languages: TypeScript (node), Java, Javascript, PHP, Go
• Front-End Frameworks: Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue, React or Angular
• Database Experience: Proficiency with Relational databases and Non Relational databases (such as MySQL, Singlestore and Aerospike).
• Analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various frontend and backend system components
• B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent

You might also have

• Familiarity with Micro FE architecture and framework-agnostic
• Experience with Kubernetes / Docker and microservices based architecture
• Cloud-Based Server Infrastructure: Experience with cloud-based server infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
