Abstraction is a game development studio aiming to deliver cutting-edge game experiences. We’re known for our work on technically demanding projects on world-class IP like Halo, Dune, Mass Effect and Baldur’s Gate, and have worked on more than 60 shipped titles to date.

What Will You Be Doing At Abstraction:
Oversee the day-to-day activities of a project and drive the project’s quality and planning.
Manage production schedules, risks and dependencies between various disciplines.
Track progress towards deliverables and report on project status.
Facilitate constant communication between team members, departments and stakeholders.
Run daily stand-ups, chase actions, steer priorities and remove roadblocks.
Schedule and run meetings effectively and ensure outcomes are clear and followed up on.
Identify risks and dependencies early on to be able to mitigate accordingly.
Evaluate cross-discipline pipelines, improve processes and coach team members.
Effectively set and manage expectations between all stakeholders.
Guide teams to successfully delivering high quality products on time, in budget.
Coach and mentor other producers and evangelize best practices company-wide.
What You Will Bring Along:
Have 7 or more years of experience as producer or project/team manager, working with complex cross-disciplinary teams on high scale, high stake projects. (Preferably in games.)
Shipped multiple games; at least one large, as the leading producer on the project.
Have excellent leadership qualities, people- and soft skills.
Proactive attitude that likes to engage in high pressure problem solving.
Ability to handle a wide range of situations with confidence.
Care about your project’s quality as much as the happiness of your team.
A sharp eye for detail, continuously looking to improve people, products and processes.
Able to identify the most critical points in the development process and during discussions.
A strong, clear and reliable communicator who’s calm and dependable under pressure.
Able to deal with ambiguity and complex challenges on ever-changing projects.
