Position Details:

Position Overview:

Working within the Sports Programming team, the Assistant Producer will assist the Producer in all stages of content, programme or series production. Contributing and developing ideas for programmes across WBD Sports channels and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in developing concepts and content for assigned programmes to be used across WBD Sports channels & platforms
  • Producing, editing and writing scripts, teases, features, and other elements for non-live, live and recorded shows.
  • Directing off-site multi camera shoots, sometimes with high profile contributors
  • Providing story ideas to generate creative content, from concept to execution.
  • Supervising edit sessions and audio record sessions
  • Liaising with relevant members of production team to ensure delivery of content to deadlines
  • Liaising with suppliers and 3rd parties, to ensure project tasks are delivered
  • Contributing to discussions around new ideas and initiatives and changes to workflows to increase efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to produce / direct ENG camera shoots
  • Working knowledge of non-linear editing techniques with a view to being able to produce fast turnaround edits across assigned programmes
  • Ability to ensure delivery of content to tight deadlines
  • Ability to contribute content ideas & suggestions
  • Ability to self-shoot

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Organisational and planning skills, precise attention to detail and methodical approach to work
