Who are we hiring?
The Senior Manager, Parking & Transportation would enhance the day-to-day operations by overseeing logistics, coordinating vendor schedules and staff, and handling operational tasks. The Senior Manager, Parking & Transportation would also help improve the quality of services, mitigate risks, and ensuring smoother operations during peak times or emergencies. They will also assist in developing long-term strategies contributing to the venue’s growth and taking operations in-house, eliminating the need for vendor company.
What will you do?
- Provide direction and oversight to self-park lots, valet parking other transportation services; limo, taxi and rideshare as well as parking and traffic vendor, ensuring seamless operations and unmatched guest experience during arrival and departure.
- Work closely with the Director of Parking and Transportation to implement cutting-edge initiatives, drive revenue and optimizing vendor staffing strategies.
- Oversee the execution of policies, operating procedures, and vendor labor schedules.
- Oversee and ensure all task and duties are being completed in timely manner by hired vendor, safely, and in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures.
- Work closely with other venue teams to plan VIP arrivals, groups, and buy-outs.
- Supervise, train, and manage Supervisors, Leads, Parking Attendants, Shuttle Drivers.
- Address disciplinary actions, provide necessary coaching and feedback.
- Control of supplies and materials, limiting overuse, waste of resources, and deterrent of theft.
- Assist with invoices, and partner-vendor, as well as other stakeholder relation.
- Act as a conduit for communications from pre-event and event Managers, as it relates to ongoing operations and business decisions.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of all parking areas.
- Preform pre-shift briefing, completion of vendor timesheets, completion of checklist, inspection logs, and inventory logs.
- Assign essential preventive projects with a proactive approach.
What do you need to succeed?
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience related to parking, traffic, and event management.
- Knowledge of the Las Vegas market and event cycle.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Working knowledge of contracts, scheduling, personnel management, and general administration.
- Excellent verbal & written communication, organizational and time management skills required.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with ticketing systems, (TM Entry, Archtics, ParkHub) a plus.
- Strong interpersonal/customer service skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks.

- Valid driver’s license required.
- Working outside during certain hours may be required at times.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
