Description

We’re expanding and looking for an experienced Senior HR Manager, specializing in HR Controlling, to join our team in Cebu, Philippines to support our continuous growth and the development of our HR strategies.

About the Role

  • Lead HR operations and office management, serving as a strategic partner to the Studio Lead in Cebu and a key link to our HQ in Hamburg.
  • Design and manage effective HR controlling systems that guide strategic decision-making across the company.
  • Analyze HR metrics to provide valuable insights into financial performance, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and monitor KPIs in areas like employee performance and turnover.
  • Implement competitive compensation frameworks that attract top talent and align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Advise management on Philippine labor laws, including employment contracts, disciplinary actions, and terminations, and represent the company with government bodies.
  • Prepare insightful reports and presentations for senior management and corporate functions.
  • Align HR planning and reporting with finance teams and HQ, conducting variance analysis as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory HR reporting and audits.
  • Contribute to global HR projects, driving initiatives that boost performance and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of HR experience, with a focus on HR Controlling.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience in a multinational company is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a dynamic, international setting.
  • Willingness to travel to Germany HQ when needed.
