Job Description
  • Work closely with senior management to review company-wide people practices, identify critical issues and carry out hands-on implementation of customized solutions.
  • Design and execute global policies and projects across multiple areas, including but not limited to talent acquisition / development, organizational development / culture, performance management, internal communications, etc.
  • Lead management reporting efforts within Garena as well as at the group level.
  • Serve as a liaison between group-level and local HR teams, ensuring alignment and smooth execution while value-adding to both sides.
  • Research latest industry benchmarks and best practices in people strategy and operations, as well as organizational development.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in HR, preferably covering multiple areas of HR and/or OD.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capability - you understand the why behind the what and the how, and always seek to deliver effective solutions that work, even if it is unorthodox.
  • Business-centric mindset, combined with people sensitivity - you have strong communication skills, and a proven record of building trust even with difficult stakeholders.
  • Resourceful and hands-on - you jump into the deep end of the pool and learn how to swim on your way down, enjoy getting your hands dirty and never shy away from manual administrative work.
  • As the role is regional and encompasses Greater China, both spoken and written Mandarin is required to communicate with Mandarin-language stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable passion for games is a strong plus.
