Job Description

Ness Digital Engineering seeks Senior Atlassian Plugin/Integration Developers to design, develop, and maintain custom plugins for Jira and Confluence using the Atlassian SDK. Responsibilities include customizing Jira workflows to align with ServiceNow processes, customizing Confluence pages to display information from various tools, developing integrations between Jira and other DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub), performing code reviews, and managing documentation. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in Atlassian plugin development, proficiency in Atlassian SDK, REST APIs, and Groovy/Java scripting, and a strong understanding of Jira workflows. Experience with Confluence, Bitbucket, and DevOps processes is essential. Atlassian Certified Expert certification is preferred.

Must have:

5+ years Atlassian plugin development experience
Proficiency in Atlassian SDK, REST APIs, Groovy/Java
Jira workflow, issue type customization expertise
DevOps tool and process knowledge
Develop and maintain Atlassian plugins

Good to have:

Atlassian Certified Expert
Experience with Confluence and Bitbucket

Ness Digital Engineering is building a high-performing team to execute a comprehensive Change and Release Management Implementation using ServiceNow (SNOW), Atlassian Jira, and other DevOps tools. The project involves delivering a fully automated, integrated solution for a leading client. The roles require deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and leadership in driving ITSM, ITAM, and integration practices.

Location: India (2 positions)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain custom plugins for Atlassian Jira and Confluence using the Atlassian SDK.
Customize Jira workflows to align with ServiceNow Change and Release Management processes.
Customize Confluence pages using SDK to render info from various tools and display on confluence as a release notes

Extract what stories went into release
Extract what Test Cases were executed from test case management system
Extract and display what code is going into a release from GitHub
etc

Develop integrations between Atlassian Jira and other DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
Perform code reviews, ensure plugin performance optimization, and manage technical documentation.
