Job Description

ByteDance seeks Senior Associates for Promotion and Events. Responsibilities include developing and implementing e-commerce resource planning strategies, setting budgets, conducting performance reviews, utilizing data analysis tools (SQL, Python) for optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating business needs into technical requirements. We are looking for talents to join us on this exciting journey! Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce resource planning strategies, specializing in promotions and events. Set goals and budgets for promotions and events; conduct reviews to ensure alignment with company objectives. Utilize data analysis tools such as SQL or Python to evaluate promotion and event performance, identify trends, and provide optimization recommendations. Utilize SQL to handle data at mass and construct dashboards to support delivery of insights and facilitate business decision making. Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns and events, aligning with marketing and sales objectives. Collaborate with data science/data engineer to translate business needs into technical requirements. Effectively manage resources and data to streamline and enhance the company’s promotions and event strategies, refining as needed and making recommendations to company management. Distill data analysis into actionable recommendations and strategies. Present the results of data analysis to management.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Applied Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of related work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Applied Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Must have two years of experience in the following skills: Building data models to project business performance and set business performance goals; Analyzing quantitative financial and operational data, including revenue, growth, and efficiency, using Excel to generate business insights and inform future strategy; Identifying business problems and proposing growth opportunities with data-driven insights; Developing graphical and visual representations of data using Excel and Tableau; Using programming language SQL or Python to execute data analysis, create data visualizations and create data pipeline to support automated updates; and Generating data visualization and dashboards for technical and non-technical audiences. Travel Requirement: Requires domestic and/or international travel up to 15%. 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $106434 - $144400 annually.​
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).​
