The Revenue Platform Manager at Google will collaborate with Finance partners to optimize Quote-to-Report (Q2R) processes, improving new product launches, system enhancements, and regulatory compliance across billing platforms and financial operations. This role requires ensuring timely and high-quality project deliverables through risk management and effective communication. The manager will develop an understanding of Q2R processes and revenue platforms (GPP, SAP) to recommend solutions for Finance needs. They'll manage technical solution development, from stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering to design, development, testing, and implementation. The position demands a dual role as project manager and technical lead on multiple initiatives, overseeing third-party vendors and ensuring timely project completion while meeting business requirements with high quality. The ideal candidate possesses strong program management, prioritization, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in BI, Analytics, or Software Development
- SQL expertise for data extraction and transformation
- Strong program management and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Good to have:
- Experience designing reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools
- Data warehousing solution design and delivery experience
- Knowledge of core financial processes or systems (Oracle, SAP)
- Knowledge of Google's Finance system infrastructure
- Experience with Google's Payments Platform (GPP)

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in the fields of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Software Development.
- Experience in using SQL for extraction and transformation of data sets.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in designing, developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
- Experience in designing and delivering data warehousing solutions.
- Knowledge of core financial processes (e.g., accounting, billing, collections) or financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Knowledge of Google’s Finance system infrastructure with an interest in learning about automation opportunities for Finance to realize efficiencies.
- Track record of strong program management, prioritization, cross-functional stakeholder management and delivery in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and a bias to action.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring actionable insights through effective communication.

Revenue Platforms (RP) mission is to simplify and centralize the prioritization and deployment of smart, Quote-to-Report (Q2R) digitalization to deliver the highest Return on Investment (ROI) on Finance platforms, for Alphabet. Ultimately, we aim to enable Q2R systems, processes and data fit for Finance that enables every product, anywhere, anytime, the right way, effortlessly.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Finance partners to optimize Google's Quote-to-Report (Q2R) processes, driving improvements in areas such as new product launches, system enhancements, and regulatory compliance across our billing platforms and financial operations.
- Ensure timeliness and quality of project deliverables through proactive risk management and effective status communication.
- Develop an understanding of Q2R processes and our revenue platforms, including Google’s Payments Platform (GPP) and SAP to identify and recommend creative solutions to address Finance needs.
- Manage the development of technical solutions, from partnering with multiple stakeholders to gathering detailed business requirements, through technical design, development, testing and implementation.
- Play a dual-role of project manager and technical lead on concurrent initiatives, overseeing the work of third-party vendors and ensuring projects are completed timely, while meeting business requirements with exceptional level of quality.
