As Region Business Strategy Manager, you'll oversee the Indonesia Region team (User Growth, Operations, Sales), devising and executing strategic initiatives impacting users, drivers, and merchants. You'll set OKRs, manage ways of working, lead cross-regional initiatives, and report to the Senior Manager. The role requires strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills to achieve market dominance in Indonesia, aligning all actions with Gojek's goals and values. You'll also manage a subordinate Region Strategy Manager.
Must have:
- 7+ years relevant experience (startup preferred)
- Solid project management skills
- Excellent communication (English proficiency)
- Collaboration and stakeholder management
- OKR setting and monitoring
Good to have:
- Management consulting experience
- Corporate strategy/PMO background

About The Role
Like a conductor of a 100-piece orchestra, as our Region Business Strategy Manager, you will oversee the entire Indonesia Region team which includes User Growth, Operations, and Sales team. You will work on devising and executing strategic initiatives that will make an impact on GOJEK’s users, drivers and merchants in Indonesia.
This position will report to Region Business Strategy Senior Manager and have the Region Strategy Manager position as its subordinate. The role plays a significant part in setting OKR and ways of working by aligning with different functions. With your expertise in project management, you’ll be instrumental in driving our team closer to our ultimate goal of winning the Indonesia market, ensuring everything they do works in harmony with Gojek’s goals and values.
What You Will Do
- Setting the OKRs for Indonesia region team (liaising with different functions to align on OKRs, target setting, target breakdown)
- Own the Indonesia regions ways of working, OKR monitoring & cadences
- Lead strategic initiatives that are cross regions / at Indonesia level
What You Will Need
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in relevant sectors, start-up background is preferred
- Solid project management skills - provided by experience in delivering large-scale projects in previous organization
- Solid communication skills - can communicate with purpose/empathy, good command of English
- Able to collaborate with compassion, including managing complex stakeholders
- Previous experience in management consulting, corporate strategy/PMO role will be preferred
About the Team
Our Region Strategy team, a sub-pod of the Regions team, has a total of 9 people based in Jakarta. This team is actually divided into 2 groups, Region Business Strategy and Region Analytics Strategy. Working alongside the Product and region operations & sales team, we oversee overall strategy to improve our region team performance, including setting OKR and target for each region, initiating special projects to tackle challenges in regions. Off hours, you’d probably find us having barbeque together. We’re made up of food enthusiasts, books lovers, and quiz fanatics.
