Job Description

As a Middle QA Engineer at Hypemasters, you'll ensure game quality by meticulously tracking the development process, conducting thorough tests at each stage, and verifying functionality against standards. Responsibilities include identifying and tracking bugs, documenting testing phases, developing test plans and cases, collaborating with developers, prioritizing testing activities, designing and executing automated tests, and reporting issues. You will work with the production team and developers to improve system requirements, supporting the team in implementing those changes as needed. The role requires experience in manual games QA, excellent written communication, and proficiency in bug reporting and test plan creation. Familiarity with Apple and Google store guidelines and tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and others is beneficial.

Must have:

1-3 years manual games QA experience
Excellent written communication
Agile environment experience
Bug reporting & management skills
Test plan creation & reporting

Good to have:

Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, Apptim, Gamebench
Familiarity with Apple and Google store guidelines

Description

Hypemasters is an exciting and rapidly expanding game development company renowned for creating cutting-edge mobile and PC games that prioritize innovation, creativity, and captivating gameplay. We are currently seeking a Middle QA Engineer to join our team.

As a Middle QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for meticulously tracking the development process of our product from start to finish, overseeing production, and conducting thorough tests at each stage to ensure it aligns with our standards.

Responsibilities:

Verify that all product pieces and components are functioning and meet quality standards.
Check that the product is compliant with regimentations and design plans
Identify, isolate and track bugs throughout testing
Effectively document testing phases, identifying and recording defects, bugs, errors, and other associated issues
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Work with the production team and developers to identify and improve system requirements, supporting the team in implementing those changes as needed
Prioritize and plan testing activities
Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated tests
Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
Stay current with industry trends in testing strategies

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in manual games QA
Excellent written communication skills
Experience of working in an agile development environment
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
Proficient in bug reporting workflows and bug management
Skilled in creating comprehensive test plans and producing clear and concise test reports
Familiar with Apple and Google store guidelines
Proficient with xCode, Android Studio, Android Debug Bridge, Apptim and Gamebench
