Responsibilities include understanding Android Automotive OS features, car framework components (display, audio, power management), concurrent multi-user support, Java/OOP, Android Studio, testing frameworks (CTS, ATS, VTS), interaction with vehicle components, and creating safe and intuitive user experiences. Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have:

Job Description

Key Responsibility:

Lead the architecture and design of Android-based automotive software solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

Collaborate with product management, software engineers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of automotive manufacturers and their customers.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.Key Skills:

Understanding of Android Automotive OS and its features.

Familiarity with the car framework, including display and window management, audio, concurrent media sessions, and power management.

Knowledge of concurrent multi-user support and its implications on app development.

Proficiency in Java and Object-oriented principles

Proficiency with Android Studio and its tools for debugging and testing.

Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as CTS, ATS, VTS,

Knowledge of how to interact with vehicle-specific components, such as sensors and VHAL properties.

Understanding of how to create user experiences that are safe and intuitive while driving.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and resolve issues in complex automotive systems.
