As a People Partner at Google Search, you'll be a key member of the leadership team, shaping people strategies and resolving organizational challenges. You'll advise Vice Presidents, coach leaders, manage programs, and ensure people decisions are data-driven and aligned with Google's values. Responsibilities include identifying talent gaps, improving organizational health, building strong leader relationships, providing HR guidance, and developing and executing people plans. You'll need experience in HR business partnering, executive coaching, and organizational planning, along with strong communication and influencing skills.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in HR Business partnership roles influencing and executing strategy, and leading organizations through periods of change.
  • Experience coaching and advising Executive leaders, demonstrating the ability to build trusted relationships and influence decision making.
  • Experience in managing the planning for an organization with cross-functional engagement and prioritization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design.
  • Ability to garner consensus from internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, surrounding new ideas and strategies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across audiences, situations, and contexts in both a written and verbal format.

As a member of the People Operations team supporting Search, you will be an integral part of the leadership team a thought leader of people and organizational topics who understands every aspect of the business. You will have the opportunity to help solve organizational challenges with people related solutions.

You will shape and land a people strategy that will support Googlers in realizing their ambitions. This will require you to think, use data to guide your work, and be comfortable challenging convention and in some cases reinvent how work is done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $202,000-$287,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify organizational and talent gaps, and People needs to successfully execute business strategy, evaluating the talent landscape to inform resourcing and development plans.
  • Lead efforts to improve organizational health by monitoring trends and metrics related to new, undefined, or multi-dimensional problems, maintaining a pulse on the culture, speaking truth to leadership, and sponsoring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Build relationships with leaders and provide sound HR guidance on future or undefined problems, balancing client, business, and company needs against risks, with a focus on People consequences and reactions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor within the client organization, advising Vice Presidents across many countries and job families in the development of People Plans.
  • Prepare, support, and influence individuals, teams, and organizations in order to shape and deliver People Plans.
